The rights, obligations, and service commitments governing your use of Balanexa.

Legal Notice: These terms govern your subscription to the Balanexa platform. Please have your practice's legal advisor review them prior to commercial engagement.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) and RASCODEX (“we”, “us”, or “our”), governing your access to and use of the Balanexa bookkeeping and accounting software platform hosted at app.balanexa.com and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

2. Description of the Service

Balanexa is a multi-tenant cloud bookkeeping platform designed for accountants, accounting firms, and businesses. Key capabilities include client workspace management, isolated database storage, double-entry general ledger, invoice and bill management, bank statement reconciliation, multi-currency accounting, and financial reporting.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access the Service, you must register a customer account at app.balanexa.com using a valid business email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including managing user invitations and assigning role permissions (Preparer, Reviewer, Admin) within client workspaces. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Free Trial & Subscription Billing

  • 7-Day Free Trial: New user accounts include a 7-day free trial that automatically activates the Standard plan (2 workspaces, 2 users per workspace, 70+ reports, no AI) for 7 days without requiring credit card details.
  • Subscription Fees: Following the 7-day trial period, continuing access requires an active monthly subscription under one of our published tiers (Standard, Professional, Premium, or Enterprise).
  • Cancellation: You may cancel or archive a client workspace subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle.

5. Customer Data & Accounting Responsibility

Your Data, Your Responsibility: You retain full ownership of all data, records, transactions, and attachments entered into your workspaces. Balanexa provides mathematical calculations, reporting engines, and reconciliation tools, but does not provide formal legal, tax, or certified public auditing advice. You and your qualified accountants remain solely responsible for the legal compliance, tax accuracy, and statutory filing of your accounting records.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or money laundering activities.
  • Attempt to circumvent tenant isolation, access unauthorized databases, or reverse engineer platform code.
  • Upload malicious scripts, viruses, or executable files into the private document library.
  • Resell, lease, or sublicense platform access to third parties outside of legitimate accounting firm client management.

7. Intellectual Property

The Balanexa platform, software code, user interface designs, logos, trademarks, and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of RASCODEX. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in our software other than the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. RASCODEX disclaims all warranties, express or implied. In no event shall RASCODEX be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption, arising out of the use or inability to use the Service.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
